About Yara-Nee

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by.

My name is Yara-Nee Dennis and this is my story. I am a full-time freelance Website Developer and Travel Blogger who travels every chance I get.

Who am I?

I think have never really asked myself that question before. If I were to ask myself that question…hmmm, I think it would be along the lines of freedom.

Yes!, Free..dom. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always liked my freedom. The freedom to do whatever I want whenever I want.

My mother would always tell me stories about when I was a baby and how I hated confinement. One of the stories that stood out to me was when she used to put me in the crib.

She said that I would always cry when she tries to put me down and the only thing that could stop me from crying was music; the little ballerina dancing on top of the musical box.

I guess that would explain my love for music and dance but that’s another story.

Back to freedom. Yes, as I was saying. I love freedom and almost every decision I make allows me to have some amount of freedom. When I feel confined to a place/situation, well… I normally leave it or step away.

I always wanted the freedom to travel wherever and whenever I wanted. I gradually made that dream became a reality by making small lifestyle changes and prioritizing travel.

I have traveled enough to have my share of good and bad experiences. I have met some of the most amazing people from around the world, been to beautiful places, got twice robbed, experienced racism, got my debit card eaten by an ATM, slept in an airport because I ran out of money and the list goes on.

I have many stories to share with you and you will hear it all via this platform.

I would like to help people achieving milestones they make for travel, whether small or large. My intention is to assist by sharing my experiences, guides, tips, and tricks.

I want to show people that they can travel and experience different cultures without breaking the bank. I hope to inspire you to do great things in any field that you choose to pursue. I love to encourage and motivate others and I will do so by sharing my experiences.

There you have it, one of the many sides of me in a nutshell.

Travel Around Jamaica

All of us travel every day. Some travel because it’s mandatory some travel because of choice. The ones who are choosing their destinations have a stronger possibility of experiencing different cultures and meeting new people.

I’m happy for the ones who are choosing their destinations and the possibility exists that JAMAICA could be the destination of choice. This website will be your one-stop Library/Directory(Online Guide) for everything Jamaican with a focus on the plethora of attractions we have to display. Information about the do’s and don’ts while in Jamaica will also be available.

I will be traveling to all the attractions known to man, in Jamaica; registered and unregistered. Jamaica has more to offer than the Bob Marley museum and Dunn’s River Falls and you will definitely see that while I’m traveling. I will be exploring our Food, Attractions, Restaurants, Celebrations, Hotels/Villas, Historical Sites and People.

The ins and outs of Jamaica will be explored one parish at a time. There will be things about Jamaica you have never seen before or even knew existed.

This Island is packed with buried and hidden treasures just waiting to be discovered.

Come with me to explore the Treasure Hunting Paradise!

Other Travels

I am very adventurous and because of my adventurous nature, I was inspired to do a two-week backpacking trip around Jamaica, where I stayed in every parish in the island. Travelling around my country is not enough for me.

I have traveled to other countries such as the United States, the Cayman Islands, and Nicaragua. I will be sharing my experiences of other countries on this blog as well.

The biggest travel milestone I have is to be the first Jamaican to travel to every country in the world.

Let’s make that dream a reality!
